Wednesday                  Trip to Jiblah & Tai’z

                              7:00am       Breakfast at YCMES

                              7:30am       Depart Sana’a for Jiblah

                              12:00pm     Lunch in Ibb

                              1:00pm       Tour Jiblah. Queen Arwa’s                                                 mosque, palace, & museum

                              2:30pm       Depart Jiblah for Tai’z

                              3:30pm       Arrive at hotel in Tai’z with                                                 break for rest.

                              4:30pm       Depart hotel for sunset from                                                 al-Qahira Fortress

                              7:00pm       Dinner in Tai’z

                              8:00pm       Return to Hotel with                                                  optional visit to souq         

 

Thursday                      Tai’z to al-Khawkha

                              7:30am       Breakfast at hotel

                              8:30am       Tour the Old City, Souq & Mosque

                              10:30am     Depart Tai’z for Khawkha

                              2:00pm       Lunch and check-in to hotel

The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for swimming

 

Friday                    Khawkha, Zabid, Beit al-Faqih, al-                                 Hajjerah, Manakha

                              7:30am       Depart Khawkha for Zabid

                              8:00am       Breakfast at Zabid, with tour                                                 to follow

                              10:00am     Tour Friday Market in Beit al-                                                Faqih

                              1:00pm       Haneed Lunch in                                                           Mawara                    

                              4:00pm       Visit to the old Jewish                                                  village of al-Hajjerah

                              6:30pm       Check-in & Dinner at the              hotel in Manakha, followed by                  live traditional Yemeni music                 and dancing

 

Saturday                 Manakha, al-Hoteib, & Sana’a

                              7:30am       Breakfast at hotel

                              8:00am       Depart for visit to al-Hoteib

                              9:00am       Begin hike, with stop in

                                                 al-Kahil

                              1:00pm       Return to hotel with lunch

                              4:00pm       Arrive in Sana’a
